The Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix has finally arrived, bringing with it high anticipation from fans set to pack the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City

The qualifying session for Sunday's Mexico City Grand Prix (8pm GMT start) provided another twist in the Formula 1 world championship race as Lando Norris produced a fantastic lap to secure his first pole position in seven races.

Max Verstappen will start tomorrow’s United States Grand Prix from pole position at Circuit of the Americas. Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc rounded out the top three after qualifying in Austin, Texas — where championship leader Oscar Piastri finished only sixth fastest.

F1's 2026 season is slated to kick off next March, and Apple says a selection of free races and practice events will also air within the Apple TV app (not to be confused with Apple TV, the streaming service formerly known as Apple TV Plus ). Viewers will be able to watch the action in English or Spanish.

Lando Norris left F1 title rivals Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri trailing in his wake as he stormed to pole position at the Mexican Grand Prix. Norris ended his six-race run without pole position, his last coming in Belgium in July, by dominating the field and beating Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc by 0.262 seconds.
